Wallace Sewell was founded in 1992. Since then, what started as a partnership between Harriet Wallace-Jones and Emma Sewell has evolved into a thriving business that sells its designs across the world.
I’ve long been a huge fan of their focus on colour and geometric design. Wallace Sewell products are a great example of the First Diktat: commit to quality products designed to last a lifetime.
After my reel on Instagram about the studio and their designs for the Elizabeth Line moquette, Emma and Harriet very kindly agreed to an interview.

Emma mentioned their colleague Nowshin Prenon runs winding workshops. There’ll be one at the V&A South Kensington on 4th September. It says it’s primarily for the under 26, but suitable for all. You can find details in Nowshin’s Instagram bio.
