Giveaway Update

So the first Decmatic giveaway didn’t go according to plan. I announced the plan, a winner was randomly selected from subscribers at the end of the month and then…somehow the Salty’s poster didn‘t make it to the lucky recipient. It wasn’t lost in transit, it wasn’t incorrectly delivered, it wasn’t even dispatched. Long story, the details of which are not important.
But the whole, weird non-process, something that should have been a fun, celebratory moment left me deflated and questioning whether it was a good idea to be offering giveaways at all.
But I still believe in it. It’s something I want to do. So after a break in July, the idea will be resurrected. Look out for news in August or September.
